Urovesa shows its latest developments at IDEX 2021
Considered one of the most recognised and influential trade fairs in the sector worldwide, today IDEX has become the best showcase for the latest technologies and trends in the land, maritime and air defence sectors. It also stands out as a unique platform for establishing and strengthening relationships with government departments, companies and armed forces from the whole region.
Aware of this, Urovesa has committed to showing the rest of the world the potential and high performance of its armoured VAMTAC ST5 and its VAMTAC SK in Special Operations, version for troop carrier, which will be present in the Spanish Pavilion, booth 10 C06 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
The Middle East is a region of great interest for the company, which attends this exhibition every two years sinde 2005 with the firm intention of continuing to consolidate its presence in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain and Iraq, where different VAMTAC configurations are already in service in armies and security agencies, and to position itself as a leader in transport solutions for military use in all types of terrain and conditions.

We continues working on the manufacturing of the VAMTACs according to the NSPA contract, starting with the Special Operations Vehicles and command post configurations.

The National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA) recently performed a test on a new version of VAMTAC ST5 in its facilities of La Marañosa which simulates of a mine or grenade remotely operated as a convoy passes through a conflict zone.
